We did go and try to see the spawning Kokanee, but they were few and far between. It was another great time with the Hawes. We'll hope they don't get too sick of us because Jack loves them. He still asks for Leisy, but we do what we can. This is a close up of the crawdad that Laney caught. Don't worry. Steve is holding the crawdad. He frequently acts as tour guide and stunt double.

it was horribly disgusting. especially when you run into it with your big toe in the stream. I thought it was a trilobite at first. (i was wearing flip flops)
too bad trilobites are EXTINCT!
Christian would be jealous because he isn't around to see the kokanee. He has been catching lots of bluegill and sunfish here in Iowa though. Cute pictures of Jack! I like staying caught up with old friends from the ward!
