Seeing your post brings back a lot of memories. We used to swap babysitting with your sister Annette at the Houston Temple. Then of course there was that time you and I ventured into downtown Houston for kicks. Wish I could have been there. It looks like you guys had a lot of fun.

Hey Derek- we had a wet and cold walk through downtown Houston this trip. It was way different than our sunny walk in May. I still don't think that there is a lot to do in Houston.
Laney- I'm going to catch a bucketful of crawdads at Strawberry this summer just so those who missed out in this Cajun treat will have an idea of what they missed out on.

I'm with Laney. Shell fish induce vomiting.

I don't know if they were covered in snow, but they were full of their mustard colored guts. I really don't like seafood or shellfish, but these little arthropods were actually really tasty. Once you pulled the meat out of the tail there wasn't any of the gritty stuff involved (only the tasty guts and digestive tract).

that description of the guts is gross!! remember that crawdad i found up at strawberry? I nearly died when it touched my foot.
