Steve got home on Sunday from nearly a week in Texas. It was so lonely without Steve around. Thankfully Laney kept me company. One of the first nights without dad, Jack kept looking around the house, "hello, hello. hello?" Then he found the photo album of Steve's mission. He pointed to each picture, "da-da. daddy.." It was so sweet and so sad.

I love that picture. I was so excited when I took it. That obelisk in the back makes Laney uncomfortable, which is precisely the effect I was going for. I'm so glad you posted it for the whole world to see.
