Dipthongs

Did you know that a dipthong is two sounds that slide together? Oi is one of our famous dipthongs and boy do my students love oi and all the words that showcase this famous dipthong. This is a little demonstration on my teaching tactics. It really works!

Yes, I did know what a dipthong is and yes, I'm also speechless about your dance moves. It appears, from the video, that your moves aren't really impressing Jack. He just keeps moving away from his mother bouncing around. You should've invited us over to participate.

Laney makes a very good point. Watching Jack is very interesting! I really like how the video starts with Jack staring off with the snake in his mouth.

Thanks to you I keep singing this silly song! I'm hoping that katie will be super advanced since I'm teaching her about dipthongs and she's only in kindergarten! hey remember last year when we had Valentine's day together? that was fun, wanna come to our house this year?

I'm totally distressed that my sound isn't working right now when I'm online! I love watching the dance, though! One of these days Derek will fix my sound and I know it'll be even more fun. :)

I LOVE IT! And to think that up to this moment I kept wanting to dance to the HGTV Sleep on it commercial. This is even better!

Hailey you are amazing! Wait until my mom figures out this blog thing!

I finally got to see the video with sound thanks to the laptop viewing - I think I'll sleep better tonight if I don't get "oi" stuck in my head.

I think your shimmying is my favorite part. . .or the air that you get from jumping over Jack's toys. . . I can't decide. Oi, oi, oi! How's teaching going this week by the way? I love how teaching brings out our best.

I want to be in Mrs. Leavitt's class! I think I would have remembered what a dipthong is a lot sooner if my teacher did a dance like that!
