Griffin Derek Leavitt*May 11, 2009I think he'll look like Grandpa Christman Howell and I. He is so handsome. He has a great loud cry already. He is a fabulous little eater and he has ridiculously long fingers and toes. He's teeny tiny and he's named after two great men (perhaps three if you want to ask mom the history to Derek's name). We're tired and happy!

It seems like you guys had a little bit of waiting time on your hands. I've never thought of taking a picture of my view. Griffin looks so precious. And you look really great. I might have to wear earrings next time I deliver a baby. So happy for you guys, and I love his name!

It's funny what other people don't see. All I could see in the picture are the negative things about my current physical state. The earrings are beautiful though. Steve got them for me for Mother's Day and he chose really well. It's nice to have something to make me feel pretty while other things are in need of repair.
