Political me

Following a link (http://www.okcupid.com/politics) from a recent post on the Wiemers' blog I've been able to find myself politically. Although I as hoping to be an anarchist, here is the true me-

You are a

Social Moderate
(55% permissive)

and an...

Economic Liberal
(18% permissive)

You are best described as a:

Democrat

I don't know what this means, but this is what I got:
"You are a Social Liberal (66% permissive) and an...
Economic Liberal (33% permissive)
You are best described as a Democrat.
You exhibit a very well-developed sense of Right and Wrong and believe in economic fairness."
All I know is that heaven knows I didn't claim the Democratic Party when I registered to vote.

Holy cow, my position on the political map puts me right on Hillary Clinton's head! And look how BIG and central John McCain is. Is this site trying influence popular vote by making McCain unavoidably visible and Obama a significantly smaller dude in the corner? I'm also interested in how perfectly straight the line can be drawn from all the current U.S. political figures from George W. to Obama.

Looks like I'm a centrist. I kind of feel it means I don't really stand for anything. Yikes!

Hmmm . . . the test must be flawed. I opt not to share my score for fear my father would see it and disown me. The options force you into leftist responses. I wish the program didn't use the term "permissive." I'd like to see how Rachael scores. (She's stuck with me.)

As a well trained surveist (in my teenage years) I can tell you that those questions are very poorly written.

What the heck?!

Social Conservative (35% permissive) and Economic Liberal
(28% permissive). Best described as a Totalitarian?!

But my favorite part was the last line, same as Wayne:

"You exhibit a very well-developed sense of Right and Wrong and believe in economic fairness."

I'm not sure if that's suppose dto be a good thing or not! Those statements were super misleading. but it was kind of fun all the same!

I didn't even know that I was on anyone's head. I'll let everyone know tomorrow.

Should Adam Sandler and Donald Trump really be symbolized as political icons? What?!
